Bruschetta - The first Italian Gluten Free Restaurant!
Bruschetta Restaurant was the first Italian gluten free restaurant in the UK and opened in 2008. It is the brainchild of Chef Julia Zardetto, who suffers from a gluten intolerance herself.
Julia worked long on developing fresh gluten free pasta that tasted as good as regular pasta and was of a similar price. She and her partner Daniele also came up with recipes for gluten free stone baked pizzas, traditional Piadinas and mouth watering desserts.
News of her food has spread and people travel long distances to come and eat great tasting food at sensible prices!!
It is believed Bruschetta is the only place in the UK that you can purchase fresh gluten free pasta
